"I started yoga at Turbodog in my 60s and and it has corrected a condition that was going to require surgery…I drive to class from the suburbs, 1 hour each way, and it is absolutely worth it!"

We make it easy to get started:
• Arrive 15 minutes before the start time of your 1st class to ensure a stress-free experience.
• Come to class on an empty stomach. If you need to manage your blood-sugar level, eat light.
• When you arrive, you will need to fill out a brief info waiver.
• Wear comfortable workout clothing. Yoga is practiced barefoot so no footwear is needed.
• We have free yoga props, including mats, available at the studio.
• We accept cash, checks & credit cards.

Good Yoga Etiquette:
Arrive early to class.
• Stay for the whole class (if you need to leave early, be out the door before savasana begins).
• Leave footwear by the door.
• Avoid wearing scented products, perfume & cologne.
• Avoid chewing gum in class and drinking coffee before class so you can breathe better.
• Turn cell-phone off before class starts.
• Let the teacher know of any injuries or if you are, or believe you might be, pregnant.
• Keep practicing!! Soreness after practice is totally normal, this is your body awakening.

The more you practice, the better you will feel. A consistent yoga practice is recommended to receive the full benefits.

"I've been doing yoga at Turbodog for almost two years. I stand taller. I have less pain in my neck and shoulders. My core is stronger. I find it easier to keep weight off-- even easier than when I was swimming and running every day."
