THANKSGIVING DAY YOGA & CEREMONY
Turbodog Yoga, 10:00 - 11:30am

"When humans participate in ceremony, they enter a sacred space.
Everything outside of that space shrivels in importance.
Time takes on a different dimension. Emotions flow more freely.
The bodies of participants become filled with the energy of life, and this energy reaches out and blesses the creation around them.
All is made new; everything becomes sacred."

-- Sun Bear

So often this holiday gets lost amidst the food and stress.  Set the tone this year by starting the day with focusing on all the blessings that are in your life.  The ceremony will be a family-friendly affair because it's important to us to begin, more actively, folding our community's kids into our general yoga environment.  It's good for the kids and it's good for the adults.  Read the Nov Newsletter to discover why. (If you're not signed up for our newsletter you can easily remedy that by scrolling to the bottom of the page.) This won't preclude those of you who don't have kids from having a meaningful experience, and will allow those of you who want to share this day with your kids and spouses to do just that.  Kids of all ages (including babies) and spouses are welcome.

Giving thanks is one of the most powerful energy medicines on the planet.  Our gratitude ceremony and yoga practice will both open you and fill you up. So much so that you might not have room for the turkey feast!

The first 20min or so will be gratitude ceremony. The rest is yoga practice. Your kid(s) can be in the room with you playing while you do yoga, or they can have a play date in our hang-out area and enjoy our dried-leaves pool with your spouse and other kids. Just bring some toys for them regardless and magic markers (if you have any).

Ceremony is free. Standard class rates apply to those of you staying for yoga.
