We have had a vision for a long time of a cohesive and healing community that supports its members’ personal and spiritual growth. Our 2008 retreat to Costa Rica was the seed for manifesting this vision.  The bonds formed during that week were so loving and sincere and it felt right to build our community upon such a strong and healthy foundation.
 
Upon our return to Chicago we formed the “TurboDog Hoop” – a community for our students.  

We typically gather on the first Sunday of each month at Moksha Lakeview (3444 N Clark, Chiacgo, IL) for an asana practice lead by both of us from 11am-1pm.  Following the asana practice we introduce the subject of focus for the month and offer a teaching or guided process work around this topic.  Past teachings include subject like “Setting and Working with Intents” and “How to move past non-serving beliefs”.  Following the teachings we enjoy each other over a vegetarian pot luck lunch.  The teachings and lunch go from 1:15 to approximately 3:30pm.

Both the asana and the teachings are offered via conference call for our out-of-town students.

The cost of the gatherings is $20 per gathering.  For our out-of-town students, this includes the asana as well as the teaching, for our Chicago students – the cost of the asana is paid to Moksha, at regular Moksha class prices.

Recordings of the sessions are made available to full-year Turbodog Hoop Members.

If you’d like to register for a full year, the cost is $80.

Our Turbodog Hoop cycle runs from March of each year through Feb of the subsequent year.
